What are Bonus Bucks?
CFC-ASTD has created many exciting ways to promote your workplace learning and development goals through the chapter, including our exclusive Bonus Bucks Program. Bonus Bucks are our local “chapter currency.” You can earn Bonus Bucks in a number of ways (see below), and use them towards bidding on many valuable prizes in our annual Silent Auction held every December. The Silent Auction offers items ranging from free coaching sessions, books, electronic and entertainment items (cameras, CDs, iPods, etc.), memberships, gift baskets and gift certificates for local businesses such as restaurants, spas and shows. The only way to bid and win these items is with Bonus Bucks, so the more you earn the better your chances to win great prizes!
How Can you Earn Bonus Bucks?
As members of the CFC-ASTD, you have many opportunities to earn Bonus Bucks:
- Attending monthly chapter meetings
- Registering for monthly meetings/programs online
- Referring potential members to CFC-ASTD
- Submitting articles for the chapter Newsletter
- Donating items/services towards the annual Silent Auction
- Becoming a Mentor
- Becoming an Ambassador
- Volunteering
And many more!
